Fine dining can be found at various places throughout our nine county region. The nine counties offer a variety of family and ethnic restaurants, whether it be Chinese, Mexican or American dining. Fast food restaurants or almost every type and size can be found throughout the area.

Nearby major city amenities are convenient for one day shopping trips to Indianapolis, St. Louis, and Evansville, IN.

Recreation
Southeastern Alliance of Illinois nine county region offers recreation for all income levels, including public swimming pools and beautiful golf courses. The communities pull together during the warm weather with a variety of fairs, festivals, art exhibitions, craft shows and entertainment.

Several state parks, as well as the winding Wabash River on the eastern boarder of the region, add to the natural beauty of the landscape, offering hiking, camping, boating, swimming, hunting and fishing. Well-managed golf courses challenge players of all skill levels and have even hosted PGA events.
